I've long thought of writing a companion ebook to this site, either How to Plan a 1920s-Themed Wedding or How to Plan a 1920s-Themed Party (or a little of both). I've written a lot about these topics over the years, but the information would need to be compiled, expanded on, and updated, so it's a sizable time investment, so my idea has stayed on the back burner for years.
Every year, however, I participate in a novel-writing challenge called NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). This self-challenge takes place in November, with offshoots (called Camp NaNoWriMo) in the warmer months, usually April and July. I don't win every year, but I do at least attempt to write a novel every year.
This year, however, I'm considering doing things a little differently, and writing my ebook instead! NaNoWriMo usually helps to motivate me to complete fiction projects, so maybe it'll do the same for this nonfiction project.
If it works, I will most likely publish the ebook to Smashwords and have a sales page here on my site, too!
