Online vintage fashion retailer
Last night I spotted an ad on Facebook for an online vintage fashion retailer, ModCloth.com. Thinking that perhaps some of my readers might be interested, I browsed the entire collection of dresses.
Most of the dresses seem to be more 40s- and 50s-inspired, but there are a couple of dresses that would be great to wear to a Roaring Twenties party or a 1920s wedding. For instance, the Odalisque dress might even make a great dress for the bride in a 1920s wedding. It's a short, simple, and sweet dress, and might not be bridal enough for some women, but the flapper styling is obvious. With white T-strap shoes, a white feather boa, a flapper headdress, and some 20s-inspired costume jewelry, this gown would be perfect for a 1920s-themed wedding.
There's also a gorgeous peach knit dress, called the Apricot Dream dress, that would be a great choice for a guest or even perhaps a bridesmaid. T-strap shoes, gloves, and a cloche would totally bring out the 20s look in this dress!
The site also has a genuine vintage section, but it looks like they sell out quickly, so check back often!
